Wydawnictwo Draco is a Polish book publisher handling hundreds of orders, printing house communications, and invoices every month. Most of it was done manually. We built a system of automated workflows on n8n that eliminated repetitive tasks across orders, printing, and accounting, giving the team hours back every week.

The challenge
The publishing team was spending too much time on tasks that didn't need a human. Processing orders meant dozens of clicks per day. Checking print status required calling the printing house about each book individually. Invoice tracking was manual. None of these tasks were complex, but together they ate up hours that could have been spent on publishing books.
They needed someone who understood both the technical side and the day-to-day reality of running a publishing house.

Automated order processing
We built automated workflows in Base (formerly Baselinker) that handle the entire order flow. Order comes in, gets assigned, invoice or receipt is generated, shipping label is printed. What used to take dozens of clicks per order now runs on its own.

Instead of calling the printing house about each book, we built a system that automatically sends status inquiries by email. The printing house responds with a single click. No phone calls, no back-and-forth, no waiting.
